  Adj. phr. (colloquial).—Generic for shoddy. Thus a TIN-POT (= poor or pretentious) GAME; TIN-POT (= shabby) LOT; TIN-POT (= mean) COMPANY; IN A TIN-POT WAY = in poor or worthless fashion. Also (American) TIN-HORN.
