Author and philanthropist, the wife of Charles K. Bolton; born av Farmington, CT. Her poems and short stories are favorably known and widely read. She became prominent among those devoted to the advancement of woman, and was one of the first corresponding secretaries of the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union. A volume of her poems was published under the title, Orlean Lamar.
