[pseudonym of Klara Mundt (Müller)].  German novelist, born in Neubrandenburg, Germany, on the 2nd of January 1814. She was married in 1839 to Theodore Mundt, librarian of the University of Berlin. Mrs. Mundt was the author of a large number of light novels, very popular among certain classes. Her subjects were mainly historical. The best known of her novels is Frederick the Great and His Court (1853). She died in Berlin on the 26th of September 1873.
