[John Henry Augustus].  Theological and biblical writer, born upon the 13th of January 1817, in Lancaster, PA; died on the 19th of August 1890, at Ursinus College, Pennsylvania, whose president he had been since 1870. He published Five Years at Race Street Church; The Revised Liturgy; Reformed, not Ritualistic; and translated and condensed into two volumes Herzog’s Protestant Theological and Ecclesiastical Encyclopedia.
