Path. [mod.L., f. Gr. σύν SYM- + μέλος limb: see -IA1.] A form of monstrosity in which a pair of limbs, esp. the hinder limbs, are fused into one. Hence Symmelian a., characterized by symmelia; sb. an animal so characterized.
