1659. Dr. R. Robinson, in Sir T. Browne, Wks. (1835), I. 423. About us they [jelly-fish] are generally called squalders, but are indeed evidently fishes, although not described in any Ichthyology I have yet mett with.
a. 1682. Sir T. Browne, Norf. Fishes, Ibid. IV. 333. Sea stars in great plenty . Whether they be bred out of the urticus, squalders, or sea jellies, as many report, we cannot confirm.
