[ad. L. azȳmita, ad. Gr. ἀζῡμίτης, f. ἄζῡμος: see prec. and -ITE. In F. azymite.] One who administers the Eucharist with unleavened bread; a name given by the Greek Church to members of the Roman Church, and to Armenians and Maronites.
