[see FRONTAL], pertaining to the ethmoid and frontal bones: as the ethmo-frontal notch. Ethmo-maxillary a. [see MAXILLARY], pertaining to the ethmoid and to the maxillary bones: as ethmo-maxillary suture. Ethmo-nasal a. [see NASAL], pertaining to the ethmoid and to the nasal bones: as ethmo-nasal suture. Ethmo-presphenoidal a. [see PRESPHENOIDAL], of or pertaining to the ethmoid and to the presphenoid bone: as ethmo-presphenoidal suture (Huxley). Ethmo-turbinal (plates) or Ethmo-turbinals [see TURBINAL], the lateral masses of the ethmoid bone, connected horizontally with each other at the upper surface by the cribriform plate.
