1688. R. Holme, Armoury, I. iv. 33/1. He beareth Or, a Bend Archee, Coronettee on the top side, Gules. Some say haveing the higher side Coronett-wayes. Morgan termeth this a Coronet in Bend, but he should then have said (Extended in Bend) because it reacheth from side to side of the shield.
