1598. Manwood, Lawes of Forest, xi. § 1. This manner of taking in of cattell, to pasture or feede by the weeke, or by the moneth or otherwise, is called Agisting of beasts or cattell.
1695. Kennett, Par. Antiq., ix. 219. The Bishop and Ralph de Warewill had liberty of agisting their hogs.
