[a. L. centuriātor, n. of action f. centuriāre to CENTURIATE.] pl. (usually Centuriators of Magdeburg): A name given to a number of Protestant divines who in the 16th c. compiled a Church History in thirteen volumes, each volume embracing a century. Formerly called CENTURISTS.
