Forms: 78 brasiere, 8 brazire, 8 brazier (9 brasier). [a. F. brasier, f. braise hot coals. The spellings brasiere, brazire, indicate an earlier pronunc., as in grenadier, etc.; cf. BRASERO.] A large flat pan or tray for holding burning charcoal, etc.
